As a result of the corona crisis, an entrepreneur who is not able to pay VAT can apply for special deferment of payment. The special postponement of payment applies for a period of 3 months. If the special postponement is about to expire, the tax authorities will inform the VAT entrepreneur by letter. The Dutch Tax Authorities placed a form online on June 29, 2020. An extension of special postponement can be requested via this form.
