Entrepreneurs who get into financial difficulties because of the corona virus can ask the Tax Authorities for deferment of payment of VAT.
The request must be substantiated in writing, when the Tax and Customs Administration grants the collection to stop. The assessment takes place afterwards.
In addition, the tax authorities will cancel or reverse the so-called default fines for not paying taxes on time. This applies, for example, to late payment of VAT.
