Romania – New VAT rules : Bad Debt Relief and VAT registrations | VAT Systems

Newly published Law introduced the following changes:

– Counting from January 1st of the year following a Court´s decision of reorganization plan/bankruptcy proceedings, there is a 5 year period to claim VAT from the uncollected debts; – VAT registrations will be subject to a new risk assessment framework.
