Polish Ministry of Finance Updates on National e-Invoicing System Timeline and Implementation

  • The Polish Ministry of Finance (MoF) has confirmed that the development of the National e-Invoicing System (KSeF) is a priority, with ongoing reviews of stakeholder feedback from the November 2024 public consultations.
  • A revised draft of the KSeF legislation is now expected to be submitted to the Council of Ministers in Q2 2025, potentially following another round of public consultations, with publication anticipated by that time at the earliest.
  • The MoF has stated there will be no postponement of the mandatory KSeF usage, scheduled to begin on 1 February 2026 for large taxpayers and 1 April 2026 for all others, and is committed to supporting implementation through information campaigns.
