- The Secretariat for Small and Medium Enterprises (MiPyMEs) in Argentina has extended the acceptance and rejection period for Electronic Credit Invoices (FCE) under Resolution 480/2024, allowing businesses from November 1, 2024, to October 31, 2025, a 21-day window to approve or reject invoices, in line with the “Productive Financing Law” (Law 27,440).
- Electronic invoicing is mandatory for all taxpayers in Argentina, streamlining operations across sectors with various invoice types, and requires authorization from the Federal Administration of Public Revenue via a unique Electronic Authorization Code and QR code for each invoice.
- The FCE system enables small and medium enterprises to receive early payments, enhancing cash flow and working capital; the extension provides MiPyMEs additional time to adapt to electronic invoicing requirements and integrate digital systems, facilitating compliance with tax laws and improving their financial stability.
