France begins official registration of PDPs

French authorities started certifying Digital Public Platforms (PDPs) as service providers reported receiving approvals throughout August. These registrations are occurring approximately two years ahead of France’s mandatory e-invoicing system implementation, currently planned for September 2026. PDPs will play a vital role in implementing this mandate by assisting in distributing the processing load beyond the central Public Invoice Portal (PPF) and offering businesses enhanced functionalities. Currently, the DGFIP website lists about 70 service providers applying for PDP status, with Pagero being the first officially announced platform, receiving the registration number 0001.
