The government is likely to extend two key export promotion measures – the Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products (RoDTEP) scheme and the Interest Equalisation Scheme (IES) – to help exporters retain their competitiveness in a volatile global market. The RoDTEP scheme is expected to be extended for at least fiscal year 2024-25, while the decision on the IES extension is also likely to be made soon.
