Germany-based X was engaged in car rental. During searches of a home and at the business addresses of X and an affiliated company, Mietverträge (rental agreements) were found. Based on these agreements, the inspector concluded that in a number of cases there was taxable rental of cars by X, subject to Dutch VAT. The Court agrees with the inspector.
