Mandatory KSeF from February 2026: Simplifications and Updates in VAT System

• Mandatory National e-Invoice System (KSeF) will be implemented from February 1, 2026 for large companies with sales value exceeding 200 million PLN
• Smaller companies will have the obligation from April 1, 2026
• The project will include the ability to add attachments and new solutions for local government units
• The Ministry of Finance confirms the maintenance of the 200 million PLN limit and two implementation dates
• Invoices for consumers and offline mode will be allowed
• The Ministry withdraws sanctions in the Personal Income Tax Act related to not providing NIP number
• Invoices can be issued in offline mode temporarily, with a QR code, for easier issuance to foreign entities or at gas stations.
