Amendments to the VAT Tax Act – Registration threshold, VAT scheme SME’s, VAT groups

The draft bill proposes amendments to the Value Added Tax Act,
including increasing the VAT registration threshold to EUR 60,000,
implementing a new VAT scheme for small businesses in line with EU Directive (EU) 2020/285, and
introducing new rules for VAT groups to streamline administrative processes.
If approved, the measures will take effect from 1 January 2025.
