E-invoicing, or electronic invoicing, is increasingly adopted by businesses globally for streamlining operations, reducing errors, and cutting costs. However, there are technical challenges in the transition to e-invoicing, including system integration, data security and privacy, scalability, and system reliability. These challenges include compatibility issues with existing systems, interoperability problems, encryption and data protection for sensitive financial data, compliance with regulations, handling increased volume of invoices, performance optimization, and ensuring high system reliability with minimal downtime.
