Argentina Reduces Late Tax Payment Interest Rates

Argentina has reduced the late tax payment interest rates for the period 1 June to 31 July 2024. The new compensatory interest rate for general late payment is 6.41% per month (down from 12.07% per month for the period 1 April to 31 May 2024), and the punitive interest rate for late payment is 7.39% per month (down from 13.93% per month for the period 1 April to 31 May 2024) in cases referred to the courts for enforcement.
