The Zeeland-West-Brabant District Court ruled that X organized and guided multi-day retreats for consideration, as X received fees from participants and there was a direct link between the retreat and the contributions received. The fact that part of the remuneration was based on voluntary donations did not change this conclusion, as the retreat qualifies as a single service for VAT purposes.
