Prime Minister Donald Tusk announced a VAT reduction for the beauty industry on January 30, 2024, including: beauty salons. He justifies that this is a sector subject to higher tax than the similar hairdressing industry. The decision on reduced VAT is to be effective from April 1, 2024. The beauty industry employs approx. 30,000 people. companies employing nearly 100,000 people.
