January 1, 2025
- All German companies must be able to receive and process electronic invoices
- Voluntary issuance of e-invoices
January 1, 2027
- German companies with a previous year’s turnover of more than EUR 800,000 must issue and send their invoices electronically
January 1, 2028
- All German companies must issue and send electronic invoices
