Mr. Thang Van Thong – Chairman of the Vietnam Wood Chips Association, under the Vietnam Timber and Forest Products Association, said that thanks to the drastic participation of the Ministry of Finance, the General Department of Taxation and local tax departments, wood enterprises have recently been refunded VND 2,000 billion in VAT.
On September 21, 9, the General Department of Taxation continues to send a document to local tax departments, requesting to consider related proposals of the Vietnam Timber and Forest Products Association and the Vietnam Wood Chip Association to abolish zero VAT.
