- The law requires public entities to receive and process invoices in electronic format, with suppliers sending electronic invoices using the Peppol model.
- Accredited Peppol Access Points will be necessary for sending the documents.
- The government has published an implementation schedule based on the classification of public entities, with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, Ministry of Digital Governance, and Ministry of Immigration and Asylum among those required to comply from September 12, 2023.
- The rest of the central administration entities will be required to comply from January 1, 2024, with remaining administrative bodies required to comply from June 1, 2024, and the rest of general state administrative expenses required to comply from January 1, 2025.
