The e-invoicing in Mexico, known as the CFDI, was created in 2004 and has continued to evolve, bettering users’ experience. Mexico is one of the earliest countries to implement XML-based electronic invoicing and has been a trendsetter in the Latin American region. Businesses that have not digitized their invoices are at a loss as they are missing out on the benefits of e-invoicing.
