On June 21, 2023, the Swiss Federal Council approved the regulation granting the authority to amend the annexes of the Swiss-Liechtenstein agreement on value-added tax to the Federal Department of Finance. The authority to amend Appendices I-IV of the Agreement of July 12, 2012, between the Swiss Confederation and the Principality of Liechtenstein regarding the Value Added Tax in the Principality of Liechtenstein is transferred to the Federal Department of Finance. The regulation will come into effect on October 1, 2023.
