National tax authorities in Europe (but also outside Europe) are turning more and more to Artificial Intelligence tools to be able to reduce the VAT deficit also known as the Vat gap.To date, most of the adopted AI models involve Machine Learning (ML) – the use of massive amounts of data and algorithms to mimic the way humans learn, gradually improving the accuracy of the underlying processes.
