Do you work in the retail industry? We are looking for small retail businesses who currently report and pay GST quarterly on their BAS, to trial a monthly GST reporting and payment cycle. You would be paid for your participation.
The pilot will test if a monthly GST reporting and payment cycle will help some small businesses improve their tax performance by enabling:
- smaller, more manageable payments
- more frequent access to potential GST credit entitlements
- more manageable data and reporting
- greater visibility of their tax position.
The 6-month paid pilot starts in July. You must currently report and pay GST quarterly. Participants will need to voluntarily change their GST reporting and payment cycle from quarterly to monthly from 1 July.
For more information or to register your interest, email [email protected] by 21 June.
