Partnership of medical specialists A provides a number of specialisms for the hospital (the other specialisms are provided by medical specialists who are employed by the hospital). A chair of a department spends about 5 to 6 hours a week on management. This concerns approximately 10% of his working time. The management actions generally consist of organizing and coordinating the care services within the own specialism. The hospital receives one reimbursement from the health insurers for the total treatment costs, including the costs of the medical specialists.
