The Polish parliament has approved an extension of the reduced VAT rates introduced as part of the Anti-Inflation Shield 2.0. Previously scheduled to expire on 31 July 2022, the following are extended to 31 October 2022:
- The 8% VAT rate on fuels
- The VAT zero rate for:
- basic foods products
- gas (natural gas); and
- fertilizer for agricultural production;
- The 5% VAT rate for electricity and heating (thermal energy)
