The Court of Justice of the European Union has just announced that it will be offering a streaming service of its Grand Chamber cases on its website, from 26 April 2022. Hearings, and the delivery of judgments and opinions will be possible to view live, on the dates set out in its judicial calendar.
The institution states that it is doing so in order to facilitate public access to its judicial activity.
Hearings will not be streamed at exactly the time they occur, but will be available temporarily from 2.30pm on the date that they take place, or the following day from 9.30am.
