The European Commission has published the 2022 managements plans from the different Commission departments. The plans are produced annually by each department to define their main activities for the year ahead and explain how these will contribute to defined objectives. The published plans include the management plan of the Directorate-General for Taxation and Customs Union (DG TAXUD), which includes that five main priorities have been identified:
- Implementing corporate tax reform
- Supporting the EU Green Deal
- Reforming the Customs Union
- Protecting the EU’s financial interests
- Modernising tax and customs administrations
