- Cooking oil and tap water are exempted from VAT;
- The withholding VAT system is abolished; and
- The Tax Administration Act is amended to align with the amendment made to the VAT Act that reduced the validity period for claiming input VAT from 12 months to 6 months.
- A 15% import duty and 16.5% VAT are introduced on the import of molds;
