A common European regulatory framework is envisaged to ensure that regulations are adapted to the activities of the new digital economy. The so-called collaborative economy has made its way into our lives with force and everything indicates that it is here to stay. Currently there are thousands of companies and private citizens that operate under this kind of economy in all types of sectors, including catering, transport, accommodation and tourism.
