Bolivia will exempt from Value Added Tax (VAT) imports of capital goods, which may also be sold in the domestic market without paying that tax for a year, the Government announced on Wednesday, a measure that seeks to reactivate the productive apparatus and reduce unemployment that stemmed from the coronavirus pandemic crisis.
