Cyprus extends Schedule 7 of its VAT law, which contains the exempt supplies, with additional services provided by educational organisations offering certain certificates of technical nature.
Although education is, in general, exempt from VAT in Cyprus, the exemption was not covering educational organisations that provide educational programs and certificates of basic training for vehicle technicians and authorised organisations that provide aircraft professional qualifications, before this amendment.
