Exchange of letters between the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance, Daniele Franco, and the Secretary of State for Finance and Budget of San Marino, Marco Gatti, with whom the previous exchange of letters of 1993 is overcome, introducing commercial operations between the two countries the most recent electronic invoicing methods. The exchange of letters, which took place today at the Ministry of Economy and Finance during an interview on the main issues of bilateral interest and collaboration, represents a further step in the consolidated relationship between Italy and San Marino.
In detail, a transitional period that will end on June 30, 2022 will begin on October 1, 2021, during which San Marino and Italian operators will be able to opt for electronic invoicing instead of paper invoicing. In particular, the operators of the two countries will be able to issue electronic invoices on a single cross-border system. The system will be fully operational from 1 July 2022.
