As of July 1, the regulations for the transposition of two Directives that seek to modernize and facilitate taxation and compliance with formal obligations for companies that sell goods online come into force.
The current VAT regulations that regulate electronic commerce operations have proven to be an obsolete procedure that does not respond to the current needs of the market since it represents a very important administrative burden for the entities that carry out this type of operations. especially in the international arena. This is the reason why a series of regulations have been approved that will be applicable as of next July 1. These new features imply the transposition into our internal regulations of two Community Directives of the years 2017 and 2019. These Directives aim to modernize and facilitate taxation and compliance with formal obligations for all companies that are dedicated to the sale of goods online.
