April 2025 Sales Tax Rate Changes Announced Across Multiple U.S. States and Localities

  • Alaska: Scammon Bay retail sales tax is 6 percent; seasonal rates in other cities changed in April 2025
  • Arizona: Prescott retail sales tax increased to 2.95 percent
  • Arkansas: Sales tax rate changes in various cities and counties
  • California: New sales tax rates effective April 1, 2025
