- The Danish Business Authority has published the OIOUBL 3 invoice package as a “release candidate,” marking significant changes to e-invoicing in Denmark. The final release is scheduled for April 10, 2025, and will be one of the two nationwide e-invoicing standards alongside Peppol BIS 3.0.
- The OIOUBL 3.0 package includes detailed specifications for invoices, credit notes, and invoice response messages, and introduces a new approach to handling responses, distinguishing between technical confirmations and content-related acknowledgments. Companies must now be able to receive corresponding responses, ensuring seamless two-way communication.
- The implementation plan outlines key dates: the release candidate is available now for development and testing, the final release will be on April 10, 2025, OIOUBL 3.0 becomes mandatory on November 15, 2025, and OIOUBL 2.1 will be deprecated on May 15, 2026.
