Estonia will increase the VAT rate on accommodation services from 9% to 13% and the VAT rate on press publications from 5% to 9% by January 2025. The Estonian government is also planning to increase the standard VAT rate from 22% to 24% by July 2025. Businesses using the VAT cash accounting scheme can continue applying the lower VAT rates until December 31, 2026 for certain supplies invoiced before January 1, 2025.
