For an entrepreneur who has bought a car from a lease, it may be more beneficial than selling it to donate it, e.g. to a spouse or child. The Director of the National Revenue Information confirms that the entrepreneur will then avoid income tax, without waiting the mandatory six years. After meeting the appropriate conditions, VAT does not have to be paid on such a donation either.
