Update on Billing Amounts to Identify Final Consumers in Receipts

The tax authority updated the billing amounts that require detailed information about the receipt recipient when the recipient is the final consumer. This measure is intended to strengthen the control regime for issuing receipts. The data must be specified when the invoiced amount is equal to or greater than $344.488 ARG (approximately $370.00 USD) and the recipient is the final consumer. The information that must be detailed is the Surname and First Names, Address, and CUIT/CUIL/CDI, if applicable, ID number (LE, LC, DNI or, in the case of foreigners, a Passport or CI). This information must also be specified when the amount of the transaction is equal to or greater than $172.244 ARG ($185 USD) and has not been paid with credit or debit cards, non-bank prepaid cards or other equivalent means of payment.
