- The Slovenian Tax Authority (FURS) has proposed a draft law for a B2B e-invoicing mandate, requiring all business entities to issue and receive e-invoices exclusively.
- For B2C transactions, PDF or paper invoices are still allowed, but for B2B transactions, e-invoices must be in the e-SLOG National Standard, EN 16931 EU Standard, or internationally recognized formats.
- E-invoices must be transmitted to FURS within 8 days of issuance or receipt, and cross-border transactions are also included.
- The mandate covers e-invoices, credit and debit notes, e-orders, and equivalent sales documents, with compliance required from 1 June 2026.
