The MDEC is hosting an event to increase awareness and collaboration between businesses and e-invoicing service providers in preparation for the national e-invoicing mandate taking effect on August 1. The mandate will apply to all types of transactions but will only affect the Malaysian private sector, with public entities being exempt. The mandate will be implemented gradually based on company revenue. To enhance awareness of e-invoicing for business digitalization, the MDEC is organizing the National E-Invoicing Open Day on July 16 to promote e-invoicing adoption among businesses. This event will enable businesses to explore suitable e-invoicing solutions from accredited Malaysia Peppol Service Providers and Peppol-Ready Solution Providers.
