Dietetic advice is exempt from VAT provided that it concerns people with health problems. However, VAT exemption cannot be applied when a healthy person uses the service for preventive purposes – this is the position currently taken by the head of the National Revenue Administration, who changed the previous interpretation. Experts do not agree with this approach and ask how it will affect the settlement of preventive care in a broader scope.
