Starting January 1, 2025, all VAT-registered companies in Switzerland must file their returns online using the ePortal. Companies currently using paper filing can continue to do so until December 31, 2024, by completing a paper billing order form for each billing period. The final paper billing order forms will be distributed with the billing code dispatch at the end of November 2024. The ePortal will offer both a simplified option and a full functionality option for filing VAT returns.
