Starting May 27, 2024, the Department of Taxation announces a significant update regarding the submission of responsible declarations for the reduced VAT rate of 5% on the purchase and construction of residences.
Going forward, these submissions will exclusively take place through the Tax for All (TFA) taxpayer portal. Once your request is processed, you’ll receive the relevant VAT reduced rate certificate via the same platform.
