Spanish B2B e-invoice legislation update

• The European Commission has backed Spain’s legislation to impose mandatory B2B e-invoicing, with approval expected in May 2024.
• The legislation is likely to be approved by the Spanish government, and implementation is expected from July 2025 for large taxpayers and from 2026 for all other taxpayers.
