Revised National Budget 2024: Tax changes
The Government proposes to introduce more neutral rules for the reversal of deducted VAT on passenger vehicles. The revenues from the restructuring will be used to reduce the one-off registration tax for all passenger cars and to remove the one-off registration tax for wheelchair taxis. The proposal has been circulated for consultation and follows up on the Storting’s request to “propose measures to increase the share of electric cars in the leasing market”.
