Highlights of week 6/2024
- UPDATED: Worldwide Upcoming E-Invoicing mandates, implementations and changes – Chronological
- Colombia – Colombia has extended the deadline for the adoption of electronic sales invoices and electronic equivalent documents by three months. The new deadlines are as follows:
– Annex v1.9: Extended from February 2, 2024, to May 1, 2024
– Annex v1.0: Extended from May 1, 2024, to November 1, 2024, with specific dates varying based on the type of electronic equivalent document.
The implementation schedule for electronic equivalent documents varies for different taxpayer categories. The Resolution 000008/2024 provides detailed timelines for the adoption of various electronic equivalent documents, extending up to November 2024. - Whether E-Invoicing implementation in Israel will be delayed is still not official. Implementation date could still be April 1, 2024.
- Jordan makes an announcement to taxpayers regarding e-invoicing adoption – Jordanian taxpayers are encouraged to sign up for and use the national electronic invoicing system to benefit from its advantages and avoid any penalties for non-compliance. The Income and Sales Tax Department (ISDT) has urged company owners, establishments, and individuals to register their entities and activities in the system to ensure legal compliance. Benefits of registering include faster tax-related tasks, quicker tax clearance, and relief from traditional booking and auditing processes. It is important to register promptly and meet system requirements to avoid legal consequences and fines. Interested parties can register through a provided link. This development has a significant impact on businesses in the country, and Pagero is analyzing the implications and will provide updates in the future.
