The National Assembly has extended the reduction in the VAT rate (from 10% to 8%) until June 30, 2024. This reduction applies to goods and services subject to the 10% rate, excluding certain groups mentioned in article 3 of Resolution 43/2022/QH15, such as telecommunications, information technology, and financial activities. The original expiration date for this measure was December 31, 2023.
