The Antigua and Barbuda government is reportedly considering a 2% increase in the Sales Tax (ABST) rate from 15% to 17% in order to fund certain government commitments including an increase in public servant salaries. A final decision on the increase is to be announced during an officer budget reading on 6 December 2023.
