This year, the final shape of the VAT in Digital Age (ViDA) package is announced, which assumes further improvement of the EU value added tax (VAT) system. The adoption of the package is associated with significant changes in the VAT settlement system in the EU for entrepreneurs conducting intra-Community sales. The Polish Chamber of Commerce recognizes the need to improve the legal environment at the EU level, supporting the project of solutions modernising the VAT system and promoting the digital economy, proposed as part of the ViDA package.
