Slovak Ministry of Finance aims to amend VAT Law

The Slovak Ministry of Finance has proposed amendments to the Value-Added Tax Law, including a reduction in the threshold for issuing simplified invoices from EUR 1000 to EUR 400. The objective is to combat tax evasion and harmonize with EU rules. Other proposed changes include a special scheme for small businesses, changes in VAT registration and reporting, and revisions to the place of supply of services for virtual events.
