The EU has extended the suspension of import duties on Ukrainian products until June 5, 2024, as per Regulation (EU) 2023/1077 published on June 5, 2023. The regulation covers outstanding customs duties on fruits, vegetables, agricultural products, and processed agricultural products subject to tariff-rate quotas under the Association Agreement between the EU and Ukraine. It also suspends the collection of anti-dumping duties on imports from Ukraine and applies common rules for imports (safeguards) from Ukraine. The measures aim to promote respect for sovereignty, territorial integrity, inviolability of borders, and independence as enshrined in the Association Agreement.
