Brussels wants new customs rules to handle the flood of parcels

The European customs rules could be much simpler, the European Commission believes. And that is necessary, because in the coming years more and more parcels will cross the border and customs sometimes have little control over that. Moreover, customs have to deal with more and more European rules to protect climate, environment and human rights, for example.
